Early Pregnancy Services
Private early pregnancy services include the management of normal pregnancy with early pregnancy scans to confirm viability, dates and number of babies i.e. twins or triplets.
Also, in case of vaginal bleeding a private vaginal scan will be performed to confirm that the pregnancy is normal or if there is a possibility of a miscarriage (20% of all pregnancies), which may need further careful management. In case of a miscarriage we offer conservative treatment or a simple procedure (Evacuation of Products of Pregnancy).
In case of Ectopic pregnancy (1% of all pregnancies) we offer treatment of ectopic pregnancy after confirmation including laparoscopic treatment (Key-hole surgery).
Your scans can be done in Ealing Hospital West London, Portland Hospital or at our private antenatal care clinic at Harley Street in London. However, if you need surgical intervention, you will need to go to The Clementine Churchill Hospital in West London or the Portland Hospital in Central London.
